Cities are defined by the connections people feel to them. Climate change is putting those connections at risk, altering how we live, gather, and experience urban life. Building resilience means designing environments that safeguard both people and place. https://lnkd.in/eaDm_pQQ

Briarlake Plaza in Houston has been reimagined as a destination for connection and community. Working with Cousins, Gensler redesigned the early-2000s office complex to bring people together inside and out. A new pocket park, outdoor lounge areas, and amenities like pickleball and putting greens link both towers and open the campus to its surroundings. Indoors, reworked lobbies, social seating, and a new café create a more welcoming arrival experience. The transformation turns Briarlake Plaza into a modern workplace that supports how people work, meet, and unwind today. ©Gensler, 📸 Grant Gay
