Got the chills from this story about the Reddit community: His mom texted every year on his birthday. After she died, Reddit stepped up. The power of community and the value of authentic human engagement have never been higher, and both are core to the Reddit experience. A great example of why Reddit is the most human place on the internet. https://lnkd.in/gJebnmwh

Will AI replace human interactions and knowledge? As our COO, Jen Wong, puts it, “Who is going to review a new car? Humans who sat in it. Who’s going to tell you what the food tastes like? Someone had to eat it." Meghan Bobrowsky via The Wall Street Journal: https://lnkd.in/gZZrM_U7

Earlier this month, we hosted another fantastic SnooSec event in San Francisco with a special #CorpSec theme. Security professionals from across the Bay Area gathered at Reddit HQ to share ideas, exchange insights, and connect over their shared passion for building a safer internet. The evening kicked off with food, drinks, and plenty of lively conversation before diving into a strong lineup of talks from leaders across the security community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from Jesse Fuchs, Sr. Manager, Security Solutions Architects, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Eric Chiang, CTO, Oblique, and our own Jason Phung, Sr. Enterprise Security Engineer, and Nick Fohs, Sr. Manager, Security. 📅 Save the date: The next event will take place on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 in SF.
