The formulation, manufacturing, and marketing challenges are real: the taste, stability, absorption rate, maintaining a high-performance clean, having the right shelf-life, proper packaging, fast distribution, and customer education. At Better & Better, we’ve spent years developing a delivery system that solves all of these challenges, creating a toothpaste that tastes great, cleans effectively, and delivers a boost of vitamins through a habit people already do twice a day. Vladimir Vukicevic shared thisIs that wall paint in your mouth? Titanium Dioxide is one of those ingredients most people never think about, but probably use every day. It’s what makes toothpaste that bright, perfect white. It’s also what gives industrial white paint its color. For years, it was considered harmless. Then the European Union banned it as a food additive after studies showed it may accumulate in the body and potentially damage DNA. In the U.S., it’s still allowed and it’s still in many popular toothpaste brands. When we were developing Better & Better, I didn’t feel comfortable with that. The mouth is one of the most absorbent parts of the body, and I didn’t want something used in wall paint sitting there twice a day, every day. So we removed Titanium Dioxide from all our formulas. A small choice, but one that reflects a bigger belief: better ingredients, better health, better habits.

Vladimir Vukicevic shared thisOne of the (actually) fun parts of being a CPG founder is making products that solve my personal problems. Please meet: our solution for the deep hatred of flossing. There is nothing I'd rather do less at 1 AM after a day of a million tasks than stand over my sink, cutting off circulation to my fingers trying to reach my back teeth with a piece of plasticky string. Sorry to my dentist, but it's just a hassle that is very tempting to avoid. The idea for this unique flosser came up about year ago and we jumped on it. Seeing it in action now, providing an awesome flossing experience in less than a minute is incredible. (And it looks beautiful.) Now I can't say I'm thrilled to be standing over my sink at 1 AM in any case. But my flossing chore is now absolutely painless, no string, and I'm not stressing about any plastic in my mouth. Being a founder of consumer products is not for the faint of heart, so I will be taking the wins whenever they come.

From a small town in Serbia to studying at one of the world's leading universities, this chapter of my life feels truly surreal. On 17 August, I officially submitted my final Summer Project, a Business Start-up Portfolio. Yesterday marked the official end of my one-year Master's programme. And today, for the first time in many years, I am no longer a student. This year has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and transformative experiences of my life. There were moments when I doubted myself and thought I might fail. But there were also moments when I looked back and couldn't believe what I had achieved through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. This Master's journey changed me. I grew personally and professionally, broadened my horizons, challenged my perspectives, and built lifelong connections with incredible people from London and all around the world. I am deeply grateful to my parents, whose sacrifices and support made this opportunity possible. Thank you for believing in me and investing in my education. I am also thankful to my friends in Serbia and my amazing international IEM family for being there every step of the way. Your encouragement and constant reminders of my potential helped me more than you know. Sometimes, we need others to remind us just how far we have come. A special thank you to the programme team for their unwavering support throughout this journey. As this chapter comes to an end, a new one begins.
