Lift & Shout is one of Jimmy T's microgames found in the Sports folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and returns as one of the microgames in the Sports set within the Mash League in WarioWare Gold. Its name is a pun on the title of the song "Twist and Shout," which was first recorded by The Top Notes and later popularized by The Isley Brothers and The Beatles.
Gameplay
There is a man holding a barbell on the right side of the screen and commands flashing on the left side. The player must hit the corresponding buttons to make the man lift the barbell. If they are successful, the man will shout. If they fail to follow the prompt in time, the man will drop the barbell and the microgame is lost. As the difficulty increases, more buttons must be pressed to raise the barbell all the way.
