"World Clear"[1] is a musical jingle composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays whenever the player restores a king to his original form and when Bowser is defeated in World 8-The Castle of Koopa.

Super Mario Bros. 3 / Super Mario All-Stars / Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
Super Mario Bros. 3 marks the first appearance of "World Clear". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario World, Game Sound Museum: Super Mario Bros. 3, and Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music.
In the Super Nintendo Entertainment System remake of Super Mario Bros. 3 in Super Mario All-Stars, an arrangement of "World Clear" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, an arrangement of "World Clear" plays whenever the player restores a king to his original form. Unlike the original game, it does not when Bowser is defeated in World 8-The Castle of Koopa, as an arrangement of "World Clear" from Super Mario Bros. plays instead.
