Dear Sheila Scott,
Kidz Korner is a childcare facility I believe I could be an asset to. Your use of the community is
an idea I firmly believe in and support fully. I believe I have the experience in an early childhood
classroom and the formal education qualifications to work well in your childcare. I have,
enclosed, a copy of my resume for you to look over.
I have spent extensive hours in an early childhood and kindergarten classroom, and have assisted
the teachers with their lessons and students. I am able to create a lesson that is developmentally
appropriate for all ages and I am able to set up an environment that is conducive to creativity. I
also believe that family involvement in the classroom is extremely important to the success of
the childs education.
As a professional, I am always researching ways to improve my teaching technique. I recently
attended a conference that taught me the differences between a boys brain and a girls brain that
affects how they learn. Professional development is an important part in growing as a
professional and it is something I will embrace as a future educator.
