Dear Mrs Flye,

As a child care system that is continually expanding and improving, Land of Learning Child
Care must be on the lookout for qualified employees. I have recently completed a Bachelor of
Science in Child Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Education and
Family Studies. I am writing to inquire about the opportunity to work for your facility as an your
new day care director. I offer knowledge and training in the field as well as completing a student
teaching internship.

I believe that education is the key to success for all young students. As a Daycare Director, it is
my goal to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages young students to realize
their full potential while still continuing to grow. I have come to realize how vital education is to
prepare young people to achieve success throughout their life. I hope to provide a love of
learning and a desire for constant knowledge within each student.

As a student at North Carolina A & T State University, I have been very successful in learning
the latest trends in education and developing my craft through my student teaching experience. I
have applied my skills in Child Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early
Education and Family Studies, classroom management and professionalism throughout my
semester as a student intern. I know that I can demonstrate the same degree of success in
working at your fine institution of learning.
