It is with excitement and great interest that I am writing as an applicant for your position available. I
believe your institution offers me the support, experience, and professionalism that will help me to
achieve my highest potential.

I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a masters in Instructional Technology. I have a
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements to teach in Mathematics, Integrated
Science, and Social Studies.

I am currently employed at Kalkaska Public Schools in Kalkaska Michigan teaching fifth grade. I have
taught fifth grade for five years where I have become an integral part of the school community. As a
teacher, I facilitate the classroom with my teaching styles, have meaningful interactions with parents, and
implement strategies that are vital to my students’ success. I implement a variety of teaching methods to
accommodate the various learning styles in my classroom and perform meaningful formative and
summative assessments to monitor the progress of my students. To create a positive and responsible
classroom community, I teach and plan hands-on lessons and implements behavior strategies
throughout the year. These contributions give my students the opportunity to strive for success both
academically and socially. I am able to use different strategies and techniques to accommodate the
various learning needs I find in my class through planning of hands-on lessons that connect students to
real world skills and knowledge.

I believe that I would be an excellent addition to your staff. The professional objectives that I look to fulfill
are rooted in providing excellent teaching strategies, management, and communication skills with
students and the surrounding community. I am very eager to learn new information, and I can quickly
understand material that is presented to me. I feel that with all of my experience, passion, creativity,
knowledge, plus fresh ideas, I would be a great asset to your school district.
