Javier Real completed a writing assignment analyzing who played the key role in manipulating Macbeth. He felt he did an alright job but could have done better. He liked how he was able to voice his opinion on who was most responsible, and chose to revise the assignment to fix unnecessary mistakes. Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to to persuade the reader about who I think played a key role in manipulating
Macbeth

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?


The purpose of this writing assignment was to analyze the characters in the story and see which one is the
person manly responsible for manipulating Macbeth

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I feel as though I did an alright job wasn’t the best, I could have done a lot better than I did. The rubric was
pretty much followed except for a few parts
What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I really liked how I can bring the culprit to the spot in my writing and voice my opinion on how and why they
are the person most responsible

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?


I chose to revise this assignment because it had a lot of unessesary mistakes that I needed to fix in order for it
to speak better volumes

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will do better at proof reading my own writing because I never I’ve never really done it before

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
Well, my goal was to score an 85% on all assessments and I did not reach that goal because I didn’t put
enough time into it
