Testing frequency: Testing for physical parameter every lot.
Testing for chemical parameter every 25th lot.
Frequency shall be reviewed after 100 testing
Storage condition: shall be packed in single clean jute bag/HDPE bags. To be kept on platform under
covered shelter at ambient temperature up to a period of 90 days only. Needs to be fumigated@30days prior
ro packing
Explanations:-
1. ‘Extraneous vegetable matter’ means stalks, pieces of shells, pits, fibre, pill;
2. Immature fruits: Fruits which are very small in size& properly not grown up will affect the
Appearance & taste of raisins.
3. ‘Damaged Raisins” means raisins affected by sunburn, scars, mechanical injury which seriously
affects the appearance, edibility & keeping quality;
4. ‘Sugared Raisins’ means raisins with external or internal sugar crystals which are readily apparent &
seriously affect the appearance of the raisins.
