TITLE: WYE – DELTA STARTING OF A SINGLE MOTOR


OBJECTIVES
1. To apply the principles and practices in installing a timer relay, wye – start, delta run control system of a motor.
2. To practice proper care and use of tools and equipment.
3. To practice safe working habits and teamwork.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:


Motor Control Module Multitester Electrician’s Plier Flat screwdriver
Long Nose Plier Side Cutter Plier Phillips Screwdriver Knife

SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS


Electrical Tape Assorted wires

PROCEDURE:
1. Secure the tools, materials and equipment needed
2. Using the given diagram make a table connection of the circuit.
3. Have it check by the teacher or the technician.
4. Energize the circuit in the presence of the faculty or the technician.
5. Dismantle the installation, taking care to return tools, screws, loose parts, supplies and materials.
6. Apply 5S in your workplace.
