Brief overview of the Project:
EMEA (Europe Middle East Asia) Retail team from DELL receives orders in ORL and in Order Broker
Systems. The ORL orders are received as emails with attached standard order forms.
In order to improve the process and make it more efficient, we intend to utilize robotics to automate the
order entry process within GII. The solution will allow the Retail team to receive the order spreadsheets
and automatically process the orders in GII. Orders creation will be automate as well. The new robotics
automation process eliminated the 70% - 90% of the manual work effort required by the Retail team. The
solution should also improve quality and velocity.
