APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PEACE AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY
PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LACUB, ABRA.

WHEREAS, presented to this body for deliberation is the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan
(POPSP) formulated by the Municipal Peace and Order Council in coordination with the Philippine
National Police, Lacub Police Station. The plan aims to regulate and or prevent criminality within
the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Lacub, Abra.

WHEREAS, the plan is aligned with the programs of the Philippine National Government,
particularly the Philippine National Police (PNP).

WHEREAS, incorporated in the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan is the Local Anti
Criminality Action Plan (LACAP) of the Philippine National Police, Lacub Police Station.

WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation of the proposed plan, the body found it just and legal;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion made by Hon. Nathaniel B. Bersamina, Committee Chairman
on Peace and Order and duly seconded by the body, Be It, As It Is,

HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve and adopt the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan of the
Municipality of Lacub, Abra for the year 2017 – 2019.

FINALLY RESOLVED to furnish copies of this resolution to the Office of Sangguniang


Panlalawigan of Abra and the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Lacub, Abra and all concern
agencies for their information and appropriate action.

CARRIED this 20th Day of March 2017 in the Municipality of Lacub, Abra.
