AGUILON GOLF MEMBERS REPORT

We in this area have been very lucky to escape the worst of the weather that
has been devastating the rest of the province and we have been able to
continue with our competitions uninterrupted.

Wednesday September 4 – Monthly Medal

The medal round has curtailed the scoring this week, despite the more
favourable conditions and the course being in pristine condition.

1st Peter Death 80-10= 70

2nd Dave Simpson 87-16= 71

3rd Norman Ridgway 82-10= 72

Twos: Mike Esposito 3rd, Derrick Stephenson 8th, Dave Sharp, Dave Simpson,
Bob Tagg 12th, Keith Travis,14th, Norman Whibley 17th

Wednesday September 11 – Individual Stableford

It is a little less crowded on the fairways now with the holidaymakers returning
home and the winter sunseekers yet to arrive and normal service is resumed
with the good scoring.

1st Norman Ridgway 39 pts

2nd Roy Bishop 38 pts

3rd Dave Sharp 37 pts

Twos: Les Raufer x2 3rd & 17th, Bill Gibb, Matt Mattacola 3rd, Dave Gray 8th,

Wednesday September 18 – Individual Stableford

So far this month the comps have been dominated by two players, todays
winner Peter Death has won two of the three comps and Norman Ridgway has
a 1st, 2nd and 3rd to his name

1st Peter Death 40 pts


2nd Norman Ridgway 37 pts on a card play off

3rd Bill Gibb 37 pts
