AFFIDAVIT OF EXPLANATION
I, JOVELYN SANUHAY MAGULING, 30 years old, single, Filipino citizen, and a
resident of Reclusado Purok 3-B, Apokon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines, after
having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby depose and state THAT:

1. I was an overseas worker in Saudi Arabia;

2. I worked as a domestic helper with a two (2) year contract;

3. My employment contract was terminated or cut short because of the abuses I


experienced with my employer. I was not treated right by my employer and the
terms and conditions of the said contract was not followed;

4. During the time that I was employed, I was not allowed to eat and I was
physically exhausted by cleaning the two (2) floors of a building. I had only short
time to rest as my worked starts at 5:00 O’Clock in the morning and it ends at
12:00 O’Clock in the midnight;

5. My employment’s duration lasted for three (3) months only as I cannot bare
anymore the hardships I experienced with my employer;

6. I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the foregoing statement


and in support of my intention to avail the grant of benefits provided by the
government to OFW like me;

7. I further execute this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness and veracity of my


statement above.
