Promotional Strategy
From the result of the interview conducted, they promotes their product
through social media, website, expositions, sale discount, networking and gift-
giving. The group has a Facebook page (Inabe Livelihood Group) where they
post their products. Through this type of promotion, the group is able to accept
orders from far places (within and outside the Philippines). It has also a
website however it was hacked by the website host that’s why they preferred to
use Facebook since it is much safer and cheaper than the website. They also
join to local trade fair (Mt. Province Craft Exposition), national exposition in
Manila (), and International exposition (Cordillleran collection). It offers
discount on sales exclusively for bulk orders. It also sponsors local events
through giving its finished product as gifts to awardees, guests, speakers and
others. In that way, the recipients will recognize the Inabe product and they
may even promote the product publicly.
In this regard, its effective promotional marketing strategy escalated its yearly
sales and the range of market becomes wider as the years pass by.
