PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Section 64 of the Electricity Act 2003, the State Government owned distribution
companies namely Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam
Limited, Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam
Limited submitted their Business Plan, Multi Year Aggregate Revenue Requirement petitions
for first control period FY 2017-18 to FY2019-20 along with true up petition for FY2014-15 on
21st June, 2017 and Kanpur Electricity Supply Company Ltd. on 30th November, 2016.
Further, the tariff proposal/Rate Schedule for FY2017-18 was submitted on 8th August, 2017
before Hon’ble U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission, Lucknow. Consequent upon
acceptance of aforementioned petitions on 04.09.2017, the Hon'ble Commission has issued
order on approval of Business Plan, Multi Year Aggregate Revenue Requirement for FY 2017-
18 to 2019-20 and true-up for FY 2014-15 on 30th November, 2017.

Rate Schedule, as approved by Hon’ble Commission for FY 2017-18 is informed as under :-

rebate of 7.5% on Base Rate as given for 11kV consumers under urban schedule
without TOD Rate.

Applicable Regulatory Surcharge:

Regulatory Surcharge-2: In compliance to the UPERC Tariff Order, FY 2017-18 dated 30.11.2017
Regulatory surcharge 2 @ 4.28% shall be applicable for consumers in the supply area of DVVNL,
MVVNL and PuVVNL and @ *0.00% for consumers in the supply area of PVVNL.
Further regulatory surcharge 2 shall continue @ 3.91% for LMV-1 & LMV-5 category of consumers
and @ 4.13% for other category of consumers lying in the supply area of KESCo.
*Note:-However the commission will review this again once the actual figure of RS recoverd for
PVVNL and other licensees are available.

The Above Rate and Regulatory surcharge as approved by U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission
shall become applicable after 7 days from this publicaion in all four DisComs and KesCo. The
detailed Multi Year Aggregate Revenue Requirement, Business Plan for FY 2017-18 to FY 2019-20,
True-up for FY 2014-15 & above approved Rate schedule are available at the website of all DisComs
