The Project To construct 7 blocks of 18 & 28 storey using MFE Formwork to form all shear walls, columns, slabs,
beams, chajjas & staircase.
Project : 7 blocks of 2 Basements + Stilt + 18/28 storey.
Block B – 18 storey
Block C – 28 storey
Block D – 28 storey
Block E – 18 storey (Assumed same as Block-B)
Block F – 18 storey
Block G – 18 storey (Assumed same as Block-F)
Block H – 18 storey (Assumed same as Block-F)
We have received only RCC typical floor plan for block-B, C, D, F along with one section drawing.
We have not received any RCC floor plan for block-E, G, H & architectural & elevation drawing.
As per RCC drawing, we are offering formwork for typical floor Column/Shear wall - Beam - Slab
arrangement.
Quantity is based on RCC typical floor plan for all blocks.
Formwork is for typical floor which starts from 2nd floor for all blocks. It can be used to form other non
typical floors like stilt & 1st floors where layout is exactly identical to typical floor including net floor to floor
height. Other changes on these floors to be formed using traditional formwork.
Following is NOT included in our scope:
1. Timber box outs/stoppers wherever required to omit RCC member on non typical floors.
2. Elevation features, changes in elevation features as shown in elevations & upper floor column
shrinkages, if any as we don’t have sufficient information.

Construction Set 1 with full typical floor formwork to construct block-B & E. Total 36 floors.
Period Set 2 with half typical floor slabs, column formwork & full lobby formwork to construct block-C. Total
28 floors.
Set 3 with half typical floor slabs, column formwork & full lobby formwork to construct block-D. Total
28 floors.
Set 4 with full typical floor formwork to construct block-F, G & H. Total 54 floors.
Supplying 4 sets as mentioned above, 6/12 day cycle should be achieved, which will complete RCC
structures of all 7 blocks in 14.3 months as explained below.

Number of Uses Formwork will achieve on an average 40 repeat uses.
Movement on Site The formwork will move vertically up the building and on completion of the block it would be
transferred to the next block.
Formwork Mix 100% New Formwork can be re-used 300 times.

C.I.F. Nhavasheva Port.

Re-Design of MFE As the formwork will achieve only fraction of the re-uses achievable using MFE Formwork, we
Formwork can offer to re-design your formwork into your next projects.
Our Offer Includes 1. The total design of MFE Formwork to suit your Project.
2. C.I.F. Nhavasheva Port.
3. All accessories such as pins & wedges, wall ties, PVC cones, sleeves, kicker bolt,
nuts etc. to set-up the Formwork for one floor on site plus an additional 10%
allowance for site wastage.
4. All adjustable MS props (2 levels) to allow the Formwork System to proceed at the
stated cycles indicated. The contact area of both levels of props in touch with concrete
(prop heads) will be measured for payment. However, if additional propping is
required to support certain concrete elements for a longer duration, in accordance with
any regulatory or consultant requirements, then this additional propping can be
purchased from MFE Formwork at an additional cost. Otherwise, sufficient back
propping may be supplied by the Main Contractor to these areas.
5. Contact area of MS drop frames, if supplied for sunken portion, will be measured for
payment.

6. Contact area of grooves, for elevation purpose, for creating recess in
kitchen/bath/toilet concrete wall for plumbing pipes or any other purpose & MS Box
outs, if required for services will be measured for payment over and above full panel
contact area.
7. An experienced MFE System Supervisor who will assist in the setting up of the
Formwork on site and train your site management in the proper handling of the
equipment for a period of 24 man weeks, free of charge.
You will provide suitable accommodation and transport for our Supervisor free of all
charges to MFE.
8. The supply of 1 level of our integrated MFE Steel Safety / Working brackets.
9. Our offer and construction periods are based upon the following striking times
a) 12hrs for all vertical Formwork.
b) 36hrs for all horizontal Formwork.
Excluded from our a) Inspection charges if required to be carried out by an independent company
Offer prior to shipping.
b) All local India Taxes.
c) Walers and other alignment elements, however MFE will provide detailed
drawings recommending areas where alignment elements should be installed.
d) Our offer is based on casting a typical floor in 4 to 5 sections based upon proposed
work cycles, however should you decide not to use our proposed cycles this could
incur the need for additional materials which is not included in our costs.
Special Notes Many changes in elevation features will have impact on cost.
The quantity of formwork stated within this quotation is an estimation and can only be
confirmed after completion of formwork design.
Variation in estimated quantity & actual quantity will depend on difference in drawings
given at time of estimation & shell plan approved for formwork design. +/- 5% variation
possible even if plan does not change.
The final quantity will be invoiced based upon the area of the number of panels and
extrusions supplied and not the contact area of concrete.
Walers are must for columns. We will supply detail drawings with size & location. It
has to be procured at your end & fixed as per details. Quantity will be known at the
end of design.
Bracing for props, if required as per design must be procured & fixed if not included in
MFE Scope.
The Client shall be responsible for any delays in the supply of MFE Formwork should
design changes be received after the receipt of the ‘signed off’ shell plan.
Formwork that has been manufactured, due to late design changes by the Client, shall
be charged as ‘Redundant Formwork’ at the full formwork rate. Proof of production
of redundant panels shall be given for the Client to verify.
Should the Client request for a trial erection of the formwork prior to delivery, the cost
of the mock-up will be charged at a cost to be mutually agreed.
Please note, not all props shall be adjustable as there are certain areas that would
require fixed length props such as at window openings, etc.

Payment Terms Advance 20% by TT within 7 days of confirmation of order.
LC for balance amount to be raised within 21 days of confirmation of order.
(Rate is subject to revision on failure of above payment terms.)
On agreement of our proposal and an acceptable Letter of Credit arranged, we would require approx. 12no weeks
after approval of Shell Plan to design our Formwork to your project requirements and manufacture your order.
Our offer is open for acceptance for a period of 30 days from the date of this quotation.
