comfortable at answering the questions.

Answer the following questions:

1. Is volleyball an easy sport? Why?

As long as you enjoy and have fun doing this sport, it will not be too difficult.
However, in my case I find it difficult since I am not a sporty type of person and I’ve
never played volleyball before I enter college. It is not something that you could do
effortlessly in a day or two. It requires determination, concentration, fast reflexes and
accuracy to learn. Thus, I lack of these basic things yet teamwork is foremost feature of
volleyball, though I am skilled at communication but when it comes to sports it turns
out that I still find it complex so I guess to master volleyball you need to acquire both
physical and mental skills.

2. Why do you want to play volleyball and basketball?

Honestly, I was so terrified when we played volleyball and basketball in our PE class
as I don’t have any idea what will I do. Afterwards, I wanted to learn how to play
volleyball and basketball in view of the fact that it is part of our curriculum and I don’t
want to fail the subject. Since my younger sister was good at sports she guided me how
to play volleyball and basketball where I enjoyed it as it becomes our bonding time.
Hence, I only want to play these sports for enjoyment and leisure period.

3. Why are basketball players usually tall? Can short people be a good basketball
player? Why?
In my perspective, it is due to stereotyping since most people over-generalized belief
that basketball players should be for tall people since the basket is ten feet high. It is an
expectation that people might have about in basketball as taller players achieve the aim
better. Anyways, I know some short basketball players who is good at basketball and
can do a 3-point shot like Stephen Curry, despite his height he is good at basketball.
Nevertheless, short people can be a good basketball player, it might be a little
advantage for them but they do have certain capabilities such as agility and flexibility
and tactics. Short basketball players could be primarily the team’s best passer and ball
handler.

4. Why is physical activity beneficial?

In these pandemic, physical activity or exercise is really beneficial for ourselves
specially when it comes to our health since one of its benefit is enhancing our immune
system. It also keeps our body strong and healthy, actually it also improves our mental
health in some ways. Furthermore, seeing and appreciating what our body can do,
rather than how it looks, is a great way for building a positive body image. Physical
activity promotes not just a healthy image but also the desire to love one’s self.

5. Write your reflection about the five (5) days workout.

“EXHAUSTED” -- One word to describe the five (5) days workout. In fact, being at
home I tend to slack off plus I am working so every day I’ll just sit there with my
laptop in front, however, having this requirement makes me drained and worn out plus
the camera sometimes fail to film everything doing more than the required numbers of
exercises. At first day of working out it was smooth and fine but it becomes more
vigorous from the second to the latter times making my whole body aches. I do have an
asthma though I still do these workouts since I have my medicines with me and having
the thought that these five (5) days workout help me to relieve the stress and
depression as well as improve my mood and tend to sleep better than before.
Consequently, it is a good thing as I felt more relaxed and positive at times making me
more active and focused in the daily living.
