OUTDOOR EXPLORATION

Physical Education
KATE ANDREWS HIGH SCHOOL
Name:

What is Outdoor Exploration?

Outdoor Exploration is a fantastic activity that allows us to take a
break from traditional sports, while providing us with a variety of
benefits. Not only does it allow us to focus on non-athletic physical
activity, but we get to explore our school community at the same time.
It is important for us to realize that we can be physically active without
playing competitive sports.

What exactly are we going to do?

This unit for the week requires only TWO things. First, your phone
with the app GROUP ME. All of our activities and where we will send
photos will be done 100% through this app. The second and last thing
you will need is a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and a willingness to BUY IN. What
I mean by this is that our Outdoor Exploration is a new experience as it
breaks away from what our traditional PE class looks like. A lot of work
has gone into making this unit, but ultimately, you’re going to get out of
it what you put in, so LET’S HAVE FUN!
