Sizes:
• 3/6, 6/12 months;
• 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5 years.

Materials:
• 200 to 350 g. Of woollen yarn in the desired colour;
• 1 pair of circular needles 80cm size: 5;5.5;6;5;5.5;6mm;
• 1 set of double pointed needles size: 5;5.5;6;5;5.5;6mm;
• 4 stitch markers;
• 4,5,6,7,8,9 colourful or wooden buttons

 Note: you can substitute the double pointed needles for


the circular needles and work sleeves with the knitting
technique “magic loop”.
 Buttonholes: left front band= Boy; Right front band=Girl.
Make the first buttonhole in the 3rd row and later, each
12th row in the following form: yarn forward, 3rd and 4th
stitches together.
Have attention to read these notes in first place.

Body:
Worked back and forth on circular needles adequate to the
size you desire, from mid front.
With the yarn and the circular needles cast on 99, 99,
99,115,115,115 sts and make 6 rows in rib 1/1 (knit 1,
purl 1). In the next row continue working in stockinet
stitch, without forgetting to make the first ones and the
last 5 Sts, the front band, in this way: knit 1, purl 1,
knit 1, purl 1, knit 1.
When it measures about 15, 18, 22, 25, 29, 32 cm finishing
with a wrong side row, start to cast off for the armhole:
knit 24,24,24,27,27,27 sts, bind off 6,6,6,8,8,8 sts, work
39,39,39,45,45,45 sts, bind off 6,6,6,8,8,8 sts, knit
24,24,24,27,27,27 sts, finishing with a right side row and
put this piece aside and knit the sleeves.

Sleeves (make 2):


Worked in the round on double pointed needles or
substitute for the circular needles and work in “magic
loop”.
Cast on 36, 36, 36,46,46,46 sts, join carefully not to
twist yarn and knit in rib 1/1, (knit 1, purl 1), for 6
rows. Next start to work in stockinet st and at the same
time decrease 1 st in all sizes=35, 35, 35,45,45,45 sts.
When it measures 18,20,25,29,32,35 cm cast off 6,6,6,8,8,8
sts.
Put piece aside and make the other sleeve in the same way.

Yoke:
Slip sleeves on the same circular needle as body piece
where cast off for armholes= 145,145,145,177,177,177 sts
in total.
At the same time work one row in garter st and place
markers in all transitions that is; right front=1 marker,
sleeve=1 marker, back= 1 marker, sleeve= 1 marker.
In the following row start to make reductions to form
raglan in this way:
Work in stockinet st to the 3 sts before marker, 1 purl, 2
sts together, pass marker, knit to last 2 sts, 2 sts
together, pass marker, 2 sts together, 1 purl, knit to the
last 3 sts, 1 purl, 2 sts together, pass marker, 2 sts
together, knit to the last 2 sts, 2 sts together, pass
marker, 2 sts together, 1 purl.

Proceed in these way until there are 61, 61, 61,69,69,69
sts in total.
Make 2 rows, finishing with 1 wrong side row then work in
rib 1/1, (knit 1, purl 1) for about 24,24,24,32,32,32
rows, then cast off carefully without pressing.
Close the openings under sleeves and sew the buttons.
