Pattern Notes:
The cardigan consists of two identical pieces that are worked from the central line to the edge of the sleeves. The body is worked flat, the sleeves
are worked in the round. There is no hip or waist shaping, so the cardigan can fit either oversize or loose.
Start working from the top point of one shoulder, work along the front
part, bottom part and back part; finish the row in the top point of the 55 [62] cm
shoulder again, but from the opposite side (see the schematic below).
You will decrease 4 stitches each right side row to shape the bottom
line of the cardigan and 2 stitches every fourth row to shape shoulders.
After you reach the necessary width of the front and half-back parts,
continue working in short rows to reach the necessary height to the 26
armhole. As soon as there is only one stitch left between the two de- [30]
crease lines, start working sleeve in the round by joining the shoulders. cm

Finishing
Using mattress seam, sew shoulder seams starting from the sleeve
joining point and moving towards the neck. Weave ends in and block.
Blocking notes
When choosing the yarn, please consider the following: the yarn must
block well. The side part with the short rows puckers a lot, and the only
way to get rid of this is hard blocking.
No viscose or synthetic yarn is suitable for this project, I can only
recommend yarn made of natural components.
I strongly recommend blocking this cardigan using a blocking wire to
ensure the desired outcome. It is very unlikely that you can straighten
the side using only pins. Simply get some rust proof rods (appr. 3 mm
thick, 1 m long) from a hardware shop, you can use them later for other
lace projects.
