3065 Series Limit Switch Box


The 3065 Series limit switch boxes (figure 1) mount on
either rotary or sliding-stem actuators with the
appropriate mounting kit. The switch box complies with
VDI/VDE 3845 for mounting on rotary actuators. The
mounting plate permits mounting the switch box on the
position indicator; the switch shaft couples directly to
the actuator shaft. For mounting on sliding-stem
diaphragm actuators, the switch box complies with IEC
60534–6. The switch box can also be mounted on
various Fisher Controls actuators as well as on the
Type 3710 and 3720 Series positioners.

The limit switch box is available with either inductive or


contact-closure switches. The switches can be
connected to an alarm or display device to indicate
when a pre-set limit is exceeded.

Rotary Actuators
The limit switch box mounts according to VDI/VDE
3845. The mounting kit includes a mounting plate and E0490 / IL

screws for mounting the limit switch box directly on the

Sliding-Stem Diaphragm Actuators


Mounting kits are available for mounting the limit
switch box per IEC 60534–6 on a support rod or cast
yoke of the actuator, as shown in figure 4, or for
mounting the switch box on Fisher controls actuators
or a Type 3710 or 3720 Series positioner.
