PMDAS – an acronym for Parentheses, Multiplication, Division, Addition and
             Subtraction
Rules to follow in the order of operations:
Step1: Remember to ALWAYS simplify everything inside the grouping
symbols. Examples of grouping symbols are parentheses (  ), brackets , and
braces {  }. For nested grouping symbols, work it out from the inside and out.
Step 2: Next, multiply and/or divide whichever comes first from left to right
   before performing addition and subtraction.
Step 3: Lastly, add and/or subtract whichever comes first from left to right.
         Examples:
                             9 x (3 + 4) ÷ 3 12 + 2 x (14 + 6) ÷ 4
                              9x7÷3 12 + 2 x (20 ÷ 4)
                               63 ÷ 3 12 + 2 x 5
                                  21 12 + 10
                                                                                    22
