Before attending Cedar Crest College, I aspired to be an athletic trainer.
The dream was
to one day work for a professional sports league and make my way to being the trainer for
Liverpool, a premier soccer team. After my first year in college, that dream changed. I realized
the impact that animals had on my well being. This realization led me to pursue Veterinary
Technology. I noticed, finding professions that excite me is easier with veterinary technology
than athletic training. I don't want to work With the human body. It is a bit too personal for my
liking. Veterinary technology, on the other hand, is a dream. To work with animals of different
breeds and species is what I am meant to do. Therefore, after graduation, I aim to attend Towson
University's Animal Behavior program. With the two credentials, I hope to obtain a position
training service animals. They will also help me in my endeavors to establish my own no-kill
shelter/rehab center.
