My career goals for the future are to find a good job that pays enough for me to live comfortably.

The type of career I would like to pursue is volunteering at an animal shelter. I want to work with

animals, but I don’t want to be a veterinarian or working in any other profession that involves

cutting into animals or hurting them. There are other job options that fit this criteria, but at the

moment, I am looking for careers I can pursue with just an Associates Degree since that is what I

am going to CCBC for. I could volunteer at an animal shelter and work for a while towards

getting higher rankings in the job which would allow me to make more money. Another career

that I could pursue is becoming a Vet Assistant. This career pays better than working at an

animal shelter. It also does not require as much schooling as Veterinarians (high school

diploma/GED and then pass the veterinary assistant examination to get a certificate).
