1. Tell me about the house/ flat you live in?

Well, as you might know I am living in an apartment in the center of HN city - the capital of VN. I
suppose if I had to describe my house the first thing I would say that it’s quite small with 2 bed
rooms, 2 bath rooms and 1 multi-purpose room. Another significant characteristic is that it offers
examples of both classical and contemporary furniture. Especially, it has a breathing view; from
balcony, I can see whole landscape of HN.

2. Do you like to live in a big city or a small town?

I think it would be nice to live in the countryside but study and enjoy the modern facilities in the
city. Right now, I live in big cities. I have access to all kinds of modern facilities and it’s also easier
for me to find a suitable job. However, the air pollution and traffic problems sometimes drive me
crazy. I think I’ll move to the countryside after I get retired.

3. Do you like changing your flat?

If I have the option, it’ll be nice to move to a bigger flat. In there, I’ll be able to hold parties with
my friends and even play badminton in our living room. Now, we would usually feel crowded if we
have a guest. With a big flat, this won’t be a problem anymore.

4. What do you think can be added to your flat?

If it’s possible, I’d love to have a guest room added. Sometimes my friends visit but my home is
too tiny so they have to sleep in the living room. I always feel embarrassed for that. With an extra
guest room, everything will be solved. Besides, if we don’t have guests, I can use it as my private
study room, which will help me study more effectively.

5. What's the difference between where you are living now & where you have lived in
the past?

Let me think. I think that life in the countryside is more peaceful, and the air is so fresh, while in a
big city like Hanoi, the air is very dirty. However, living in a city is much more convenient,
because you can buy anything
6. Which room does your family spend most of the time in?

I guess it is the kitchen, because that's where my family spend a lot of time together. You know, in
the kitchen, we prepare for meals, and chat with each others about interesting things. That feeling
is really warm and cozy, and it is a good chance for all family members to get closer.

7.Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?

To me, living in a house would be much better, because, you know, I need my own space, so that I
can concentrate on my work. Besides, I can change the size and design of the house in anyway I
like. I can't do that if I live in a flat

8. Please describe the room you live in

My room is not really big. It is only 14 square meters. I only use it for sleeping. It is painted in
white color, which is my favorite color. There is also a bed, a TV, a lamp, and a table. The room is
not really big but it's right for me.
