Comments:
1. Fluid velocity should not exceed 15 ft/s at maximum flow rate to minimize flashing ahead of the control valve (API RP 14E).
2. Fluid velocity should not be less than 3 ft/s to minimize deposition of sand and other solids (API RP 14E).
3. Liquid velocity is less than the maximum recommended velocity
4. Velocity in a range of 0.61 – 0.91 m/s has been considered for centrifugal pumps suction lines (API RP 14E).
5. Velocity in a range of 1.83 – 2.74 m/s has been considered for centrifugal pumps discharge lines (API RP 14E).
6. Pressure drop within the acceptable range of 0.001 - 0.11 bar/100 m was considered (NORSOK P-001).
