ABOUT PCERF
Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF) is an NGO established in 1983 by
Eminent Professionals from Construction Industry to serve the industry by solving day-to-day
problems and creating awareness about latest technological developments. PCERF has been
relentlessly working to improve quality, knowledge, technology, and R & D in the Construction
Industry by organizing workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional development
courses. PCERF has been organizing CONSTRO International Expo biennially since 1985 with the
objective of ‘Education through Exhibition’. CONSTRO is known as Construction Industries’
largest Expo in Western India with focus on Construction Machinery, Materials, Methods, and
Projects. CONSTRO is organised with facilities and overall business ambience at par with
international standards.
Our vision is to continue to achieve national and international recognition through the impact of
its research and alumni in core areas like advanced concrete/construction, civil engineering
systems, materials and computing, environmental engineering, science, sustainability, R&D to
maintain quality in growing Indian construction industry”.
OBJECTIVE
• To Establish a Well-Equipped Laboratory and a Training Center; to conduct Research and
Development in Construction Materials and Methods
• To organise Seminars and Workshops and conduct Refresher Courses to update the knowledge of
Professionals; to publish Books, Newsletters, Reports etc. for building industry
• To provide a common platform for interaction between the manufacturers and users and
showcase new materials & machinery through the ’CONSTRO’ Exhibition

I’m happy to share that CONSTRO EXHIBITION which started with a philosophy of ‘Education
through Exhibition’, has now become an eagerly awaited event for the construction industry.
PCERF has always taken efforts to identify and adopt appropriate themes for every
CONSTRO exhibition over the years, as per the need of the industry. The theme adopted for
CONSTRO 2023 is ‘Infrastructure’. Based on this theme, various seminars will be conducted
from the date of the CONSTRO Launch to the date of the actual exhibition.

I am very happy to annouce CONSTRO 2023 International Expo, 17th in series is scheduled from
12th to 15th January 2023 at PIECC, Moshi, Pune, India.
CONSTRO 2023 theme is, ‘Infrastructure - A Catalyst for the DEVELOPMENT (आ��नभर्र)’
This theme has been specifically chosen to be in line with India’s vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’
and ‘Made in India’. We want to encourage small and mid-level businesses to operate and
flourish within the construction industry.
It is my pleasure that Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) will be with us
as a 'Concept Partner' for CONSTRO 2023. I would also like to mention that this time we have
taken our first step into digitization and organized a virtual CONSTRO simultaneously with the

ABOUT CONSTRO
CONSTRO 2023 theme is, ‘Infrastructure - A Catalyst for the DEVELOPMENT (आ��नभर्र)’
Infrastructure is the backbone of any economy. The extent and quality of infrastructure determine the
ability of the country to utilize its comparative advantage and enable cost competitiveness. Given the strong
backward and forward linkages, and the positive externalities that infrastructure generates, it can be a
vehicle for social and economic transformation.
The Government of India is investing heavily in mega infrastructure projects & the construction industry
stands to benefit from this. It is for the construction fraternity to prepare themselves to grab opportunities
by overcoming challenges, in a competent and informed manner. With the motto ‘Education through
Exhibition’, CONSTRO 2023 International Expo is aimed at showcasing various facets of infrastructure
creation.
The exhibitors and the visitors across country will have a fruitful B2B engagement during the Expo to benefit
mutually in a comfortable business environment.
The Exhibition will be held at PUNE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION CENTRE, MOSHI PUNE, a
facility specially created for such Expo by the Government.
