4. Work procedure
4.1 Material inspection & storage
Concealed flush tanks of atleast 03nos must be inspected from
each consignment for physical damage, accessories etc.,
Accessories include HDPE Water closet connection set, HDPE
4.1.1 connector bend & adapter sleeve, HDPE inlet connector with Delivery Challan QC Er., Store Incharge
lip seal, HDPE connection clips, galvanised steel rods, Nuts &
covers. Upon satisfaction, stamp QC PASSED seal on Delivery
challan
All concealed tanks entering site premises shall be unloaded
4.1.2 only after QC check & stamping QC PASSED seal on the Delivery Challan QC Er., Store Incharge
Delivery Challan or invoice
All corresponding QC checks as mentioned in
Inspection/Material test Plan (ITP/MTP) must be conducted & Material inward register

records must be maintained for the same. All material delivery & Test reports

requirements as mentioned in material storage

4.2 Prerequisite
Pressure testing (at 10.5 bar) of plumbing lines, installation of

4.3 Work procedure
A Surface preparation
Ensure the area is free of foreign materials, ply pieces, cement
bags, staging material etc., Toilets must have sufficient

B Installation
Just prior to installation, read the instruction provided along
with the concealed tank in addition to this method statement
4.3.2 Mfg. recommendation Site Er., QC Er.
(As possibility is there for variation in installation procedure).
Any variation found, supplier instruction must be adhered to
4.3.3 Ensure sub contractor is having appropriate tools for the job Ledge wall - Checklist Supervisor
Mark in red oxide the location of anchor points as shown in
instruction by supplier & drill holes with appropriate diameter
4.3.4 drill bit to required depth & insert PVC fischers provided inside -do- -do-
the hole. Ensure while marking, that centre of soil pipe is
220/230/250mm from FFL as per mfg. specification
Bring out the concealed tank frame in line with the markings.
Unfold the anchor cleats & place it such that slot provided &
4.3.5 hole made in masonry match each other & secure/hold the -do- -do-
tank in position with temporary support at bottom. Check
with spirit level at top of tank to ensure tank held in level.
Once tank is leveled, place screws provided in the slots &
tighten. Once all the screws are tightened remove temporary
4.3.6 supports & confirm the setup is stable & rigid. Again check -do- -do-
whether the tank is in level after removal of temporary
supports
Fix HDPE connection clips to the frame, followed by HDPE
connector bend & adaptor sleeve. Tighten & close the
4.3.7 connection clip setting the connector in line with the bore in -do- -do-
floor. Use collar & appropriate solvent to connect the UPVC
sleeve & connector.
Remove thermocoal cushioning below tank & tighten counter
4.3.8 commoded fixation screws in the location provided in frame. -do- -do-
Also fix vertical support frames if any provided in the kit
Fill the concealed tank with water, as there is chance for
4.3.9 mortar droppings during ledge wall construction, which might -do- -do-
choke the water passage inside tank.
Unplug the end cap in flush water line & fill the line with water
& check if there is any blockage before connecting it to tank
4.3.10 flush valve. Apply insulation tape to male thread part in flush -do- -do-
valve connection & thread tightly the CPVC flush water line
with concealed tank unit.

Once installation is complete. Fill the gap below tank & frame

plastering.
Above mentioned procedure, if any needs compromise, same
shall be discussed with Project Director and approval has to be

be attached to checklist & intimated to HO.
