Greetings from the VMLP!

The current Constitution and By-Laws of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) was
crafted and ratified in 2002. For the past years, it has served its purpose of providing direction and guidance
in the governance of the League. However, after two decades we have come to the time in which the Statute
should be revised in order for the VMLP to respond appropriately to the demands of time and enhance our
capability to serve the growing needs of each and every vice mayor of this country.

Being aware of the current governance trend and the fast-changing needs of the LGUs and owing
to the advice of our past National Presidents/elders we are calling all vice mayors to attend this VMLP
Island Congress for the purpose of ratifying the proposed amendment to the Constitution and By-Laws.

In this connection, may we respectfully and officially invite you to the VMLP VISAYAS ISLAND
CONGRESS:

We strongly advise that you to call our office to coordinate your attendance to avoid hassle and
confusion in your accommodation. Deadline of payment of registration fee is January 18, 2023 through
LANDBANK Acct. No. 0571143186, Acct. Name: Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines, Inc. (East Ave.
Q.C. branch) and send a picture of your deposit slip for proof of payment to vmlp88@yahoo.com with
your name and LGU written on it.

Only those who have paid on or before the deadline shall be reserved with hotel room.
L'Fisher Hotel rooms is limited, please understand that this is a first-come-first-served basis. Payments done
at the Registration Area shall be considered “Walk-in” and may be referred to another hotel for
