To Whom It May Concern:

I give Morgan Hawkes my highest recommendation for being hired in your school district. She is extremely
hard working and constantly wanting to learn strategies and content for this profession.  Morgan has taught with
me through the entire school year of 2022-2023.  According to Morgan’s program, she needed to co-teach some
classes and then other classes she would completely take over.  With me, we co-taught and then she completely
took over Language Arts 9.  As Morgan worked with me in obtaining the skills of classroom management,
content of the area, and school protocol, she slowly became more confident and comfortable in the classroom. 
Morgan works very hard, is very conscientious, extremely creative, and because of these traits, she did very
well stepping in and teaching this class. As an educator it pleases me when a student teacher is learning the
material and is successful in doing a great job with a lesson, however, it is Morgan’s other traits to which I
would like to bring your attention. 

Morgan wanted to be part of the RHS community more than just being inside the classroom.  She looked
immediately to connect with the students socially too.  For example:  she volunteered to chaperone dances here
at RHS, she volunteered to be at our “cocoa and cram” event to help students study for exams, and showed up at
after school events, like the school musical and sporting events, to support students from her class.  Morgan has
proven to have a great work ethic in school, but also shows it through her professionalism in working with other
teachers in the building and in the district. She has attentended all staff meetings and a number of IEP’s.  She
has met with the language arts department about implementing strategies and creating new lessons through
district and building professional development. She then implemented those strategies and lessons in the
classroom. She has created lessons, and fine-tuned lessons that have been taught by other teachers, to make it
work for her and her classroom.    Through her dedication to the art of teaching, while juggling classes and
other employment, she has shown that with the challenges of the classroom, and taking care of other
responsibilities outside of the classroom, she can manage both with professionalism and integrity.  

Morgan is a worker that is determined, thorough, and conscientious of all her duties that need to be fulfilled.  If
