To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Joshua Wrinkle and I am the Principal at Rochester High School in Rochester Hills,
Michigan. Prior to my role as Principal, I was an Assistant Principal at Rochester, as well as a
science teacher and athletic coach at Rochester Adams High School. This school year, we had the
distinct honor of working with Morgan Hawkes as a student teacher.

Morgan is a remarkable teacher with a plethora of talents. I had the opportunity to observe
Morgan teaching on multiple occasions. It was clear that she had developed strong, meaningful
relationships with her students. In addition, Morgan went above and beyond to find creative,
exciting ways to teach the curriculum. In one observation, Morgan brought her class down to a
balcony in our building in order to do a reading of Romeo and Juliet. All students in her class
were engaged and focused on the lesson.

In addition to what she has done in the classroom, Morgan has volunteered to be a part of our
school community in various ways. She has attended many events in support of her students, she
collaborates with her fellow English department colleagues, and she even participated in a new
teacher dance at our Homecoming pep assembly. I fully anticipate Morgan being a dedicated
member of any staff, both in and out of the classroom.

Morgan Hawkes receives my highest recommendation for any teaching position. Her character,
desire, and commitment are uncommon. She would make a fantastic addition to any school. If
