 About pattern
This pattern is made for those, who knows basics
of crochet, knows what Magic Ring, Invisible
Decrease and Increase is, and how to sew the
details on.
If You don’t know it, watch Youtube videos first,
learn crocheting, try to crochet basic stitches
and sew some parts together!

This pattern is written in American terms:

MR - Magic Ring
Sl st – Slip Stitch
sc - Single Crochet
invdec - Invisible Decrease
inc – Increase
tch – turning chain

Materials You'll Need:

1. Yellow, red, black and brown yarn (I used
„Alize Cotton Gold” yarn. 55% cotton 45%
acrylic. 3.53oz-361yds, 5PLY)
2. Crochet hook (I used 1,5 mm hook, but it is
smaller than size what is written on yarn
label. They recommend 2-4mm. Use which is
better for your fingers)
3. Stuffing
4. Yarn Needle, sewing needle
5. Scissors
6. Pins
7. Safety eyes or button-eyes (I used 9 mm black
safety eyes.)
8. Black embroidery thread to make the muzzle.

Insert the safety eyes into the Row13. Space
between eyes – 7 or 8sc. I made 1 Pikachu with
7sc between the eyes and two Pikachus with 8sc
space. I like both versions. This head is with
7sc space.
Row19: 2sc, invdec, [4sc, invdec]x5, 2sc.(30)
Row20: 3sc, invdec. Repeat 6x.(24) Stuff the
head.
Row21: 1sc, invdec, [2sc, invdec]x5, 1sc (18)
Sl st in the end. Stuff the head till the end.
Fasten off and hide the thread.

 Hide all thread, but in opposite sides - this
way that the hidden thread are inside the tail,
when you will put the parts together…

 Crochet sc around both parts of tail… Crochet
3sc into 1 in the marked angles. Change the yarn
color to brown when you will reach the brown part
of tail. Hide all thread.

Embroider the muzzle...

Sew the cheeks on...

Sew the ears on. I sewed them on the Row4-Row7 of
the head.

Sew the head to the body…

Sew the legs on. Sew them on the Row4-Row7 or
Row5-Row8 of the body. Position depends of that,
how well do you stuff the body. (I have made 3
Pikachus, one of them (on the pictures of this
pattern) have a legs on the Row4-Row7 and two
other Pikachus what I made - on the Row4-Row8)
Invdec stitches of the leg must be placed in the
top of the leg.

Sew the arms on. I sewed them on the Row8-Row11
of the body. Of course you can sew them on +/-
1Row higher.

Embroider the brown stripes on the Pikachu back

and sew the tail on.
