Info
Please note that any yarn works fine, although the size of the finished
product may vary. I recommend using one hook size smaller than the yarn
recommends to ensure the stitches are nice and tight.

This pattern is worked in a continuous spiral without joining rounds. I

recommend placing a stitch marker in the last stitch of each round so you
don’t lose count of the stitches!

Size: Approx 3 inches tall. The size of your piece may vary depending on
what yarn and hook size you use.

Difficulty Level: Easy

Working with felt:

I have included templates for the felt shapes used to make Jigglypuff, but
please note that these templates may not be the correct size for you if
you are using different yarn or a different sized hook. You may need to
scale the templates up/down to suit your Jigglypuff better. I find looking
at a picture of them helps with this.

I prefer to sew the felt pieces onto Jigglypuff, but if this is too time
consuming or fiddly for you then gluing them down also works!

Assembly
Always pin together everything first! This way, you can see how it will
look and if you are happy with it.

1. Sew eyes to body over rounds 10-15, with 4 stitches showing between
them.
2. Using black embroidery floss, sew a ‘v’ shaped mouth over rounds 15-
17, spanning 3 stitches.

3. Sew head swirl to top of body. The larger end is positioned just right
and in front of the MR. The smaller end is then curled into a swirl shape
just touching round 11. Begin by sewing around the edge of the swirl,
and then add a few stitches to curl it up.

Then add stitches to curl the shape up. Sew the

Sew around the edge
small end of the head swirl back on itself to
achieve this.

4. Sew ears to either side of head over rounds 5-10, in line with the
MR.

5. Sew arms to body over round 15-18, 3 stitches away from the eyes on
either side.
6. Sew feet to bottom of body angled slightly outwards. The backs of the
feet are in line with the MR.
