cuando la familia tiene más tiempo, las diferentes regiones del Ecuador tienen una deliciosa variedad de
comidas. En la Región de las Tierras Altas es típico preparar mote pillo o tamales y humitas. En la Región de la
Costa tienen un delicioso encebollado, ceviche o incluso bolones y empanadas de verde rellenas de chicharrón
o queso con una taza de café. En cada ciudad o pueblo, hay muchas panaderías donde la gente compra pan. El
desayuno incluye frutas, como papaya, piña, babaco, chirimoya, granadilla y bebidas, como colada de avena
(quaker), horchata o simplemente jugos hechos con estas frutas.
