The Peril of Maria Chacon

A loyal, kind and caring woman named Lily Evans always longed and
wished for a family of her own. She lived a rather lonely life, no
husband, no children and no pets. She lived in a cozy cottage which was
a rather lovely home but the only downfall of her home was that it was
located near the Enchanted Forest. In the Enchanted Forest lived a
frightening ogre.
One faithful day Lily’s life changed and it would never be the same. Lily
loved gardening, she planted a variety of Colourful, sweet smelling
flowers. She planted almost every day to fill that void in her soul.
Frequently she visited a local flower shop in her village called La
tropicale flower shop. She often bought seeds to fill her garden with
fresh vegetables and gorgeous flowers. I would call her a weird woman
for this but every human is unique, she names her flowers and cares for
them like children and gives them unconditional love. Whoever visited
her would get a tour of this prize winning garden but I the only thing that
would visit her was animals and insects, whose main reason for coming
was here food. Lilly life was a sad one she grew up as an orphan
because her parents died.
On Tuesday 24th, October ,1957 Lilly walked into this flower shop but
was shocked to be greeted by a new cashier. This woman was surely
aged she had wrinkles over her face also she looked very odd she was
not your ordinary woman there was something different about her. She
was dressed in a violet dress and had a grey coat over it but the most
outstanding part of her outfit was her red necklace filled with rubies.
After Lilly stared at her for a while she broke the silence by saying,
“Welcome to La Tropicale Flower Shop, my name is Minerva Mcganol
how may I assist you.” Lilly told her that she was searching for some
new seeds. Minerva went in the back and returned with these brown pill-
shaped seeds. She then said, “I will like you to have some of these seeds,
they are quite unique and can give you anything you desire.” Lilly taught
of them to look like normal seed and also taught that the woman was
insane but she was surely proved wrong. As Lilly walked out she turned
to say thanks but the lady vanished.

As soon as she returned home she went to her garden and planted these
“special” seeds, she only planted one. The next day arrived and as Lilly
went to check her garden she immediately noticed that the flower she
planted yesterday had fully grown. The flower was light red in colour,
extended horizontally and was filled with petals.

She was flabbergasted and as she observed the flower she saw some
sparkles appearing randomly from the flower and suddenly some
smoked appeared. When the smoke faded a tiny human appeared. Lilly
screamed, “AHHH!” and then fell on her sun flowers. Eventually Lilly
calmed herself and got up. She observed this tiny human being, the girl’s
back had sparkling wings and she had pointed ears, also she had blond
wavy long hair and she was dressed in a red petal dress. The little human
introduced herself by saying, “Hi my name is Maria Chacon and I am a
fairy of the chaconia plant and since you planted me you must now care
for me”. Lilly burst into tears of joy and happiness filled her as she
would now have a daughter she can call her own. For the next few days
the laughed, talked and they even had tea parties. However, after a few
weeks passed Maria began to feel lonely and convinced Lilly to plant the
other seeds. That night the other flowers bloomed and Lilly now had two
new friends a, Eric William a rather handsome boy with curly black hair
and Elizabeth a beautiful girl who had hazel nut brown eyes. They
became the best of friends and they Lilly was so happy for once in her
life as she felt like she had a family.
Life was perfect and the three friends where having a marvelous time in
the garden playing fairy tag. When suddenly the clouds mischievous sky
sent rain down and a sudden gust of wind appeared. It sent Eric’s top hat
flying into the air. They all chased after it and out of nowhere a stronger
gust of wind appeared blowing all the fairies into the sky. Maria shouted
“OH NO!” it’s a tornado. The fairies cried for help but no one could
hear. They then tried to fly out of the tornado but that was useless too
since it was too strong for their tiny delicate wings. All they could do
was bare the pain of being spin in the air continuously. After a few
minutes they were all flung out of the tornado and rushed to some
nearby trees for shelter. They all taught they were safe but little did they
know as they entered the territory of the enchanted forest. They tried to
stay near the trees but they were filled with snakes and other creatures
that could harm them. As they began searching for a new place of shelter
Eric noticed a cabin in the distance. It was not the most pleasant looking
cabin but it would have to do as the rain was not planning to halt soon.
They cabin was made out of lumber and had moss growing around them,
it also reeked of onion but it would have to do. They all flew into the
cabin through an open window.
