2a HAPPY: It was my birthday and I had invited a group of friends to a coffee
house to celebrate it. We were scheduled to meet there at 8 that evening. I was so
eager that I came early. Certainly, none of them were there, but it was easy to
understand because I was early. However, I waited for half an hour, but
nobody showed up, and then I started to feel uncomfortable and worried. As I
was losing my patience, I began to call each of them to ask why they had not
come yet. To my surprise, none of them picked up the phone. I was really fed
up, as you can imagine, because it was my birthday and my friends had treated
me like that. I waited for a couple more minutes until I couldn’t stand it anymore,
and decided to leave. As soon as I called the waiter for the bill, I heard the
“Happy birthday” song start up in the coffee house. Out of nowhere, all of my
friends suddenly appeared with a birthday cake. They hugged me and wished me
happy birthday. It was such a surprise. My anger quickly gave way
to laughter and we had an unforgettable night chatting until the early hours,
drinking coffee and, of course, eating cake.
ẢNGY: One time, I got really angry because I got stuck in a traffic jam when I was
on my way to meet my friends. It happened on a Sunday during lunchtime, and I
didn't expect there to be much traffic because people usually don't work on
Sundays. Everything was going fine until I suddenly saw a line of cars in front of
me. I had no choice but to join the line and wait until the traffic cleared. It turned
out that there were roadworks causing the delay, and it took me an extra 30
minutes to get through.
Usually, getting stuck in traffic doesn't make me angry, but this time it did because
I wasn't prepared for it, and my friends were waiting for me for lunch. I felt
frustrated and helpless because there was nothing I could do to change the
situation, and I didn't know how long I would be stuck there. When I finally saw
the cause of the traffic, I felt relieved because I knew I was close to getting past the
roadworks. However, I still felt stressed because I was already half an hour late to
meet my friends.
EMBARRASSING: The most embarrassing moment in my life was when I went to
school without my books. I was studying really hard all night, actually I was
pulling an all-nighter, and I forgot to bring my books to school. As I was sitting in
the class my math teacher asked all the students to take their books out, and as the
students were taking their books out the principal entered the class.
I put my hand in the bag and I realized that I had forgotten the books at home.
Everyone in the class had brought the books and I was the only one who had not
brought the books. Principal approached me and asked me that why had I not
brought the books? I told him that I was studying late, so I forgot the books in
house. He said to me that he didnot believe my reason and then I was punished for
copying 10 math problems that day. It was such an embarrassing moment for me
that I felt like crying. The entire class started laughing at me and I was the new
dumbo of the class.
I do not think that we can avoid these embarrassing moments in our life. They are
beyond our control as in my situation my hard work for the night was not
acclaimed and a slightest mistake just turned out to be a blunder and I had to face
embarrassment in front of the whole class. Some people say that we can avoid
certain things to avoid these incidents, but I do not think in a similar way.
Childhood Memories:
When I think about my childhood, I often remember playing with friends. We had
endless fun running, laughing, and creating adventures together, no matter how
dirty we got. Those carefree moments of friendship and joy hold a special place in
my heart.
Most especially my grandparents, they are special people in my childhood
memories. Every morning, my grandparents would teach me how to cook and help
me make toys out of bamboo and banana leaves and then play with me. At
bedtime, they would hug me and tell me fairy tales. I fell asleep with dreams
dancing in my mind, feeling loved and protected.
These childhood memories remind me of the joy of friendship, the warmth of
family, the thrill of discovery, and the comfort of bedtime stories. They have made
me who I am today, and I am grateful for the simple yet profound moments that
made my early years so special.
New school:
I want to tell you an experience about my new school, the University of Economics
and Law.
When I first arrived at university, I felt both excited and nervous. Everything was
new and different - the campus, the classes, and the subjects I would study.
When I took my first class, I realized that university was unlike anything I had ever
image before. It has many new things. which must be mentioned are club, events
and talkshow. I think it its will improve many skills and expand my knowledge
beyond the classroom.
Studying at the University of Economics and Law was a transformative experience
for me.
Looking back, I am grateful for the friendships I made, the knowledge I gained,
and the experiences that shaped me throughout college.
New town:
I want to share a story with you about an experience about a new place that I
visited for the first time - Hoi An.
The first time I came to Hoi An, I was immediately captivated by its charming
beauty. The town is filled with colorful lanterns, yellow-toned houses, and a
bustling atmosphere.
I had a wonderful time exploring the streets of Hoi An. I came across some
incredible shops and market stalls that were brimming with traditional
Vietnamese crafts and costumes. They were unlike anything I had seen before,
truly one-of-a-kind. It was a joy to immerse myself in the local culture and
witness the immense talent and creativity of the local artisans. In particular,
coming to the Covered Bridge, Japan's iconic bridge, made me feel surprised by its
beauty and appreciate the rich history of the town.
One of the highlights of my visit was trying the local cuisine. Hoi An is famous for
its delicious street food and traditional dishes: Quang noodles, wontons.... I am
extremely excited about their flavors.
During my time in Hoi An, I met fellow travelers from all over the world. We
shared stories, traded travel tips, and created lasting memories together.
Leaving Hoi An was bittersweet, as I fell in love with its unique blend of history,
culture and natural beauty. But the memories I have made and the experiences I
have had will forever hold a special place in my heart.
A bad day:
I will tell you about my unlucky day. I went out with friends to a restaurant to eat
and take pictures, but the weather made things worse.
Even though it was raining, I was still determined to go to the restaurant. Before
leaving, I put on makeup and chose beautiful outfits in the hope that I would look
good and be able to take the best photos. But when I stepped outside, the rain
immediately ruined my efforts. My carefully applied makeup turned into a messy
blur, leaving me really disappointed and embarrassed.
I walked in the rain, trying to cover myself with an umbrella. But the rain was too
heavy and so I went to the appointment with really bad makeup and wet clothes.
That's probably what makes me sad...
