1. Play hangman with the pupils. Use the word RESPECT.


I. PRE-LESSON
2. Relate the word to today’s lesson.
3. Pupils get into groups.
4. Distribute picture cards and task sheet.
II. Activity 1 5. Pupils look at the pictures and group them into good and bad manners.
6. Groups compare their answers with other groups before the class checks.
7. Elicit reasons from the pupils.
8. Distribute manila cards to groups.
9. Pupils discuss ways to communicate courteously with family members.
III. Activity 2
10. Pupils write their ideas to create a bubble map.
11. Groups present to the class.
12. Pupils get into groups.
IV. Activity 3 13. Teacher gives each group a situation to role-play to demonstrate good values and
mannerisms in the family.
14. Close the lesson by telling pupils to practice good manners at home to show love, respect
