Forklift Truck Operations

This risk assessment identifies hazards associated with forklift truck operations and lists control measures to reduce risks. Key hazards include vehicle collisions, crushing/pinching injuries, falls, fires, and electric shocks. Control measures include only allowing trained operators, selecting suitable equipment, maintaining safe traffic patterns, conducting inspections, and providing proper personal protective equipment. With controls in place, most risks were reduced to a likelihood of 1 and severity of 5, yielding a post-control risk rating of 5.
