Yarn:
All yarn is worsted weight (4). I use Comfy and Shine Worsted Yarn from KnitPicks (Pima Cotton)
but any acrylic worsted yarn will work.
-Pajama Colour: 275yards(2.5 skeins of Dandelion yellow, Comfy Worsted Yarn from Knit Picks),
-Skin tone: Less than 80 yards (1 skein of Willow, Shine Worsted Yarn from Knit Picks )
-White/black: Less than 20yards each
Hooks: 4.25mm & 5.00mm
Sewing needle
Polyester stuffing
Scissor
Two Safety eyes (between 9mm – 12mm depending on preference
Two small buttons (1/2”-5/8”)
Black embroidery thread
White foam sheet (3x3inch square) *OPTIONAL* can be substituted for embroidering with white
thread or white felt
Gauge: Not needed

sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
ch - chain
sc2tog – single crochet two together/invisible decrease
ss – slip stitch
Rnd – round
st(s) - stitch(es)
dc- double crochet
BLO – back loop
Friendship Bracelet method: Used for drawstrings, refer to diagram in
pattern

 For my dolls, I used a tiny circle cutout of white foam sheet or white felt as backing behind the safety
eyes. You can opt for no “white back” or embroider it along the outside of the eye with white yarn.
 **Refer to Page 8 for assembly order and how-to instructions**
 Total number of stitches in round will be listed at the end of the round instructions in brackets
 You can use Magic Circle in place of “Ch2, Xsc in 2nd ch from hook”

Using black yarn, embroider black nose

between Rnds 1-2 vertically and then a line
from the middle of the nose down to Rnd
4 for the mouth. After nose is
embroidered, lightly stuff snout and pin to
face, pinching the top of snout slightly and
securing up between the two eyes. Using
black yarn, embroider eyebrows ¼ inch above eyelids. After
face has been completed, attach head to top of body.

After sewing the head on top of the body, secure the base of hood
around Rnd 38/39 of body. Pinch corners of front of hood to meet
at front of to form a slight “V”. Once hood is sewn into place, attach
drawstrings on either side of front of hood. Once hood is attached,
pin ears down on top of hood approximately 2.5 inches back from
brim of hood. Attach ears by sewing through the hood AND the
head, so that the hood is now sewn
into place and cannot be pulled
down.

 For the arms, secure arms in the round just below the base of the hood. Sew within
the sts of Rnd 19 of arm for a seamless edge
 For the bum flap, sew tail to middle of flap before attaching to body. Secure the
bottom of the flap around Rnd 17 of body and sew along the edges. After flap has
been attached, sew on buttons in each of the top two corners of flap (See figure 5.1)
