A ten-day League with 120 matches is being proposed. There will be 12 teams,

women players. Mr. Nair expressed his reservation of conducting a mixed 5 A
Side tournament, with according to him; it can cause injuries to the women
players. This statement was countered by President Sri. V Sunil Kumar stating
that there is no need for additional rules and restrictions because hockey is a
        non-body-contact sport.
Kerala Hockey will take the approval from Hockey India for the conduct of the
        League.
Each of the participating teams will receive Rs. 10 lakhs as incentive for
        participating in the tournament.
The winning team will get the prize money of Rs. 2 crores, followed by Rs. 1
crore for the runners-up and Rs. 50 lakhs for third place.

6 Lakhs each to 2 players, 4 Lakhs each to two players, 2 lakhs each to 2 players
and 1Lakh each to 2 players in the winning team.
The President, Kerala Hockey requested Mr.Ravi Nair to revise the proposal
submitted for want of clarity in regard to the number of participating team, the
number of players, the stake holders, prize money, the sponsorship, the media
and telecasting rights as well as he was directed to restructure the whole
program from the beginning to be conducting as well as finalizing with a proper
   timeline therein.
As per Mr.Ravi’s request, Kerala Hockey has agreed to send a structural model
on the 5’s A Side tournament plan to be held under the auspicious of Kerala
   Hockey.
