My PBL Reflection

Now that you have reached your PBL exhibition week it is important that you reflect upon the
progress you have made, the skills you have developed, your strengths and the areas of your
learning that you still need to work on.

Task 1
The first part of your reflection is to identify where YOU think you fall within this rubric by
highlighting one box on each row that best describes what you were able to do in this project. If
there are any criteria you don’t think you met at all then you should leave that row blank. You
will then need to summarise the evidence you have to justify this in task 2.

Task 2
Based upon your reflections above, complete these questions.

1) Considering your solution to the problem (or if you presented more than one solution,
pick the one you think could be most successful) describe how you decided upon this.

2) Is your solution to the problem realistic? Could this solution be implemented in real-life?
Explain your answer.

3) How did you ensure your project was innovative, creative and inspiring?

4) What people skills do you think you have developed throughout this project? Give an
example of when you had to interact with somebody (or a group of people) during this
project and describe what was positive about this interaction and how it could have
been improved.

5) Where did you find out most of your information for this project? Describe one source
of information that you used for this project (if it was a website, copy and paste the
website link below) and explain whether you think it is a reliable source or not.
6) What went well?
a) What did you enjoy most about the PBL?
b) What skills do you think you developed throughout this project?
c) How do you think what you learned in this project will help you in the future?

7) Even better if...

a) What did you enjoy least about the PBL?
b) If you were to do PBL again what would you do differently?

Task 3
You have had the opportunity to see projects presented by your peers. There is a lot of
wonderful work that has been done and shared with you. Now it is time to reflect on this and
consider how this has made you think about your own project.

1) Describe one presentation that really engaged you, was inspiring or had your attention.
2) Describe an element of a presentation that you saw that you think you would like to
include in a future presentation.

3) Having seen some other groups present, what do you think makes an effective
presentation?

4) What advice would you give to a group you have seen to help them improve ?
