Executive summary

This report was produced as part of an internship at Aclegit Consulting Private

Limited. It is a private limited company and one of the top chartered accounting
firms
in the country. It offers a wide range of professional services, including audit,
management consulting, tax consulting, accounting services, personnel management,
secretarial services, and others.

I covered the firm's history, from its founding to its present position, in this. I have
talked about how the company operates and its numerous departments. Since I
worked in the accounts department during my internship, my report contains
additional details regarding that division of the company.

The purpose of an internship is to gain experience while learning in a hands-on setting

by putting principles from the classroom to use in challenging scenarios. It contains
details regarding the work I did and what I learnt from it, as well as a work analysis of
the department where I worked.

I did a SWOC study of the business. I carried out an analysis using the concepts from
my theory. In this investigation, I found both internal and external elements that have
an impact on the firm.

The report concludes with conclusions and recommendations based on the swoc
analysis. I hope the readers find this report useful.

Internship programme
Job description

I've done everything I can to develop my abilities and put what I've learnt to use.
The company in-charge gave me instruction on TDS returns and computerised
accounting in Tally software on my first day working for the company. He also
shared his practical experience and taught me multiple techniques for this
approach. He also demonstrated to me how to file a VAT/GST return and how to
input information into a software used to create income tax returns.

Various tasks that I completed during my internship:

1. Vouching
2. Preparing books of accounts in tally
3. Voucher Entry
4. Preparing Data in Excel Sheet
5. Prepare Projected and other Balance Sheet
6. Auditing
7. Taxation
8. Theoretical learning of different type of Taxation and GST
9. Maintenance of accounts/ book keeping.
10. TDS returns preparation

Software used during internship

1. Ms office
2. Tally software

Learning outcomes

I had the chance to learn from actual experience because of the internship research
project that St. Joseph's College gave me. My work there helped me develop a sense
of responsibility and taught me how to manage office tasks and maintain effective
contact with both clients and coworkers. My learning from this encounter helped me
put theory principles into practise. I gained a broader understanding of MS Office and
Tally. I discovered how the CA firm operates.

The internship assignment helped me improve and strengthen my skills, talents, and
areas of strength and weakness as I finished my training. It also taught me how to
handle pressure at work. I gave myself a deadline to complete the vouching process
and to finish 5 to 10 files from diverse clients. Due to the strong work pressure I was
experiencing, I initially found it difficult to achieve my goal, but as the days went by,
I was able to finish the task by the deadline.

My employment required me to sift through roughly 20 boxes of papers each week,

per the process. When I pick up a client's file, I have to verify the documents to see if
they are authentic or standard, then I have to review the list of documents to make
sure that each one is accurate and actually present, and last I have to double-check the
hard copies of the documents. paired with the clients' associated bills

Swoc analysis
The fundamental objective of SWOC analysis, in the majority of cases, is to
identify the internal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and problems so that we
may focus on the right opportunities moving forward.

• It runs a profitable business with a sizable percentage of recurring
services that produce steady income.
• It offers a positive work environment for employees; • It has good
client relationships and devoted customers;
• The business is debt-free.
• The staff has experience and is knowledgeable about these concepts.

Weakness of the company

 There is a lot of manual work

 There is a lot of paper work
 There are few number of employess so it is very difficult to handle lot
of works
 Most of the clients doesn’t know this firm

Opportunity

 Ca firms are in high demand since everyone operates with money.

 The new tax laws may significantly alter how businesses are run and
may offer new chances for reputable companies like CA to increase their
profitability.
 Since there are only a few employees and it is a sole proprietorship, there is a
lot of physical work to be done. As a result, the company may expand and hire
more staff.
 • Increase in indirect tax compliance: Since the Goods and Services Tax was
implemented by the Indian government, numerous businesses have sought the
assistance of CA firms for financial advice and GST compliance..

Challenges
• Competitors: Due to the large number of competing chartered accounting
companies, the organisation may be impacted by the fierce competition.

• The market is quite dynamic and there are many competitors, making it challenging
to retain clients.

• There is more documentation, and because it is placed in offices and warehouses,

there is a risk of fire and theft.

• Data privacy: Since it incorporates private information from various businesses, data
privacy is essential.

Recommendation

The business can take advantage of market opportunities by playing to its strengths
while retaining its integrity in the face of market dangers.

The company might experience difficulties in the market as a consequence of its

flaws, and it might pass up marketing chances as a result of its shortcomings.

The business should make an effort to utilize its strengths and reduce its flaws.
Additionally, it ought to make an effort to seize diverse chances and fend against
threats.

Conclusion

The firm has a strong customer base and a positive reputation in the community. The
business should concentrate on providing its services and narrow its scope of
knowledge. The company needs to employ the necessary specialists to manage the
task. The company should make an effort to grow and take over a sizable market in
order to attract more clients and experience quick growth. Clients should receive
extra advantages, such as cost savings,Workplace efficiency, productivity, etc. The
organisation needs to prioritise networking if it wants to broaden its market reach. In
order to satisfy a variety of clients and support business expansion, the company
should offer efficient and effective services. By focusing on improving its strengths
and minimising its faults, the company can work to expand.
