House Rules
These house rules cover all the residents of this Boardinghouse. They contain rights and
duties. A cooperative and social manner of behavior is expected from all residents once
they move into the Boardinghouse. All residents will only feel comfortable if all residents
treat each other with consideration.
GENERAL
No laundry or other items can be spread out or hung up on the walkways.
Changes in the Boardinghouse, such as drilling holes, hammering in nails or similar, is
NOT permitted.
The Boardinghouse is only to be used for residential purposes.
Boardinghouse Management reserves the right to inspect room.
Please do not hesitate to raise any issues/concerns/worries regarding the Boardinghouse
or fellow roommates to the owner.
CLEANLINESS
As a boarder you are required to keep your room clean and do your own dishes.
The boarders are responsible for cleaning all the common areas including kitchen, and
bathroom
KITCHEN AND COMFORT ROOMS
Please remember to keep the kitchen clean and handle it carefully.
Please do not leave cooking unattended in kitchens.
Cooking in the boarding house may only be carried out in the kitchen. These must be left
in a clean condition. The electrical appliances must be properly used (to avoid fire).
Please clean up after using comfort room. Remove fallen hair from blocking the drainage
and floor dry for next person to use.
Switch off light when not in use
Make sure the faucet is properly switched off and water is not dripping when you leave
the area
WASTE
Any waste may only be disposed of in the appropriate waste bins.
Hazardous waste and large items do not belong in the waste bins and must be disposed of
separately.
SAFETY
The exterior and the site are monitored by CCTV.
No items are to be stored outside the apartment without permission.
Storing combustible or highly flammable materials, or materials causing a strong odor, is
prohibited.
If the water piping displays leaks or other defects, inform us immediately.
VISITOR
Visitors are restricted and must be authorized by the owner. Authorized visitors are
permitted between the hours of 9am to 6pm and must leave the premises at night – no
visitors are permitted to sleep over.
Outsiders (Not roommates) nor authorized visitors are NOT allowed inside the room.
DUTY OF CARE
On leaving the boarding house, the entry doors and the windows must always be closed.
Please also switch off all lights before leaving the rooms.
The Boarding house will accept no liability for the loss of any of your items of value.
NOISE
Noise that causes disturbance is to be avoided throughout the entire Boardinghouse and
also on the walkways.
It is necessary to refrain from door slamming, noise, loud conversations or similar.
Particular consideration should be shown in the time from 10 PM hours to 6 AM.
Music devices must have their sound set to room level.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in the Boarding house and in the entire lot.
The resident will be held liable for any breach of this regulation and will be charged a
minimum fine of P500.00.
VEHICLES
Motorized vehicles may only be parked on the designated parking spaces.
It is not permitted to motorcycles on the site, nor may repairs or oil changes be made.
PETS
Keeping animals of whatever kind is not permitted in the Boardinghouse
BREACH OF RULES
The Boardinghouse may terminate the rental agreement without refunding the rent if the terms
and conditions or the house rules are breached or in the event of physical and/or psychological
violence and/or discrimination of whatever kind against other residents and/or owner of the
Boardinghouse.
