Cultural event proposal
We want to present a proposal that
consists of holding a cultural event,
specifically a gastronomic exhibition,
where we will be exhibiting several
Dominican dishes, including the
famous dish called 'the Dominican
flag'.
We have different proposals and
suggestions that we believe can be of
great help in organizing this event.
Our goal is to make our culture
better known by making
presentations of typical dishes and
thus make our group of events
known.
I have a suggestion about the
preparation of the dishes and that is
that people from the community will
prepare different dishes so that the
spectators can try this food made by
these people from the community.
Another important point is that to
raise funds it would be to hold a
raffle that included a walk, a trip to
the beach all paid for and a bag of
rice. Finally, for me this would be a
good way to raise money for the
activity.
Personally, I very much agree with
my colleague since I see this event as
a very good opportunity for many
things. I suggest establishing points
of sale, including Dominican crafts
and Dominican drinks, to generate
income. Without much investment,
this way we can carry out activities
again if this goes as we wish.
I agree with these suggestions,
although I would say that it could be
done with a professional chef who
makes all the dishes in front of
people, but since I liked these
suggestions, we should do it like this,
you just have to calculate a good
budget and always have order, I also
agree with my colleague about the
points of sale since this will provide
more money.
With this event we hope to raise
enough funds to be able to continue
doing more and please the
community with more activities.
