PATTERN NOTES & TIPS: SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Join the Throat to Head Top Seam

Flatten the Throat, pushing the inside half against the outer crochet.
CROCHET CHAIN FOR
Find the centre of the Front Edge and mark with a pin.
THROAT INSIDE HALF
Mark the first round of the Head Top and mark with a pin.
Thread up a sewing needle with a suitable shade of sewing thread (I’m using
sewing thread because I can get a finer and neater seam) and work a couple of
stitches to hold the two pinned points together. Remove the pins
Then, working along one side of the mouth join upper mouth to lower mouth
with small, neat over-sew stitches, securing the yarn when this first side seam is
complete, try and bring the top lip over the lower mouth a little to create a slight
protrusion.
Stuff the head, not too much but enough to cover the eye stalks, and more into
the body if needed, before closing the second seam similarly.

Adding Wire

1. Cut the wire in half then find the centre of a single 18cm/ 7in wire by
bending in half
