Accent colour 2: Blush Pink - 20 yards
Accent colour 3: White Beach- 1 yard
Abbreviations Cow Bell less than 5 yards for both
bell and collar.
mc - magic circle
sc - single crochet
Please note that these colours are
hdc - half double crochet
merely a suggestion, feel free to use
dec - decrease
whatever colour you desire.
inc - increase
* - repeat
st - stitch
Special stitches
slst - slip stitch
ch - chain Picot stitch— ch 2, slst into the second
fo - fasten off chain from the hook, slst.
blo - back loop only
cc- colour change
Notes
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds and not joined with a slip stitch.
Use a stitch marker to help keep track of stitches and round count.
Level of difficulty: Advanced beginner
Yarn under method is used on this pattern. However, using the regular yarn over will not affect the finished
product other than possible size difference.
Finished size: approximately 9 inches.
Tension can change size of finished product.
Decreases are worked as invisible decreases, front loops only.
When working in a specific stitch continue inc (increase) and dec (decrease) in the same stitch. (Ex. working
in hdc, but pattern says inc, use hdc inc).

Using accent colour 1 - Coal

Round 2: (inc, ch 1, inc) in the same st, sl st x2 (7)

Insert and secure eyes in between round 5-6

On round 8 of the head in between the ears
insert hook approximately 1st away from the ear
attach yarn and work a picot stitch. Repeat on
other side, (6 stitches in between)

Nose sculpting
Take a darning needle and a piece of scrap yarn and
sew through to top of the nose directly above the eye at round 4 to the
bottom of the head. Gently pull and repeat twice until noticeable indent.
Repeat for other side!!

Sewing the on the head
Using a darning needle, slightly tilt head
forward toward you, and sew round 5-9 of
the head onto the opened body. (DO NOT SEW
ON FLAT)

Cow Bell
Using accent colour 3 - Ogo Yellow
7mm crochet hook
DO NOT STUFF
Round 1: 4sc into a mc (4)
Round 2: (1sc, inc)* x2 (6)
Round 3: (1sc, inc)* x3 (9)
Round 3: blo (inc, slst)* x4 ,1sc (9)
fo and weave in ends.
To create the collar
attach any colour yarn to the top of the bell ch15 place around
Colby’s neck and slst back into the bell.
