MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn
5.5 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
INSTRUCTIONS: all items are worked as a flat rectangle.
HAT:
Chain 10, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the
hook, and each stitch of the chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the
stitch only, single crochet in each stitch across the row,
repeat from * for 12 rows, fasten off with a 10 inch long yarn end; thread it into a yarn needle, and weave
through one of the long sides of the rectangle, pull to gather up and close the top of the hat, take a few
stitches to secure the stitches, and then sew the back seam of the hat. Weave all yarn ends into the
finished work. Roll up the brim on the bottom of the hat.
SHRUG:
Chain 10, single crochet in the 2nd
stitch from the hook, and each stitch
of the chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the
back side of the stitch only, single
crochet in each stitch across the row, repeat from * for 12 rows, fasten off with a 10 inch long yarn end;
thread it into a yarn needle. Fold the rectangle in half, and sew the two ends to form sleeves.
Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
CAPE:
Chain 10, single crochet in the 2nd
stitch from the hook, and each
stitch of the chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the
back side of the stitch only, single
crochet in each stitch across the
row, repeat from * for 13 rows, fasten off with a 10 inch long yarn end; the yarn ends should both be on the
same end of the rectangle, if not, add one more row, use these as ties to tie the cape on.
COWL:
Chain 6, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each stitch of the
chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch only, single crochet in
each stitch across the row, repeat from * for 10 rows, fasten off with a 10 inch
long yarn end; thread it into a yarn needle. Fold the rectangle in half, and
sew the two ends to form a tube. Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
Pull the cowl on over the head.
SKIRT:
Chain 10, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each
stitch of the chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch only, single
crochet in each stitch across the row, repeat from * for 12 rows,
fasten off with a 10 inch long yarn end; thread it into a yarn needle.
Fold the rectangle in half, and sew the two ends to form a tube skirt.
Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
BAG OR PURSE:
Chain 10, single crochet in the 2nd stitch from the hook, and each
stitch of the chain.
*Chain 1 and turn, working in the back side of the stitch only, single
crochet in each stitch across the row, repeat from * for 12 rows,
fasten off with a 10 inch long yarn end; thread it into a yarn needle.
Fold the rectangle in half, and sew the two side seams to form a bag.
Weave all yarn ends into the finished work.
Pass 2 strands of yarn through the opening of the bag, and tie the
ends into a knot.
