THE SCENE SUGGESTS - AHAM OUR PROTAGONIST HAS LOST HIS LAPTOP
BAG WHICH CONTAINED THE SCRIPT HE WAS WORKING ON AND THE
SCRIPT HAS TO BE DELIVERED IN A DAY.
INT. VERSOVA POLICE STATION - LATE NIGHT.
We open the scene, on a Police office (40s, fit but not very
tall, dark complexion), inspector Ingle, writing something on
a paper calmly. On his face we hear a Middle aged woman
shouting, there is a man (lanky,drunk) standing by her with
his head down, supposedly her husband.
WOMAN
Kal Nase mein aakar humaare pass
let gaya aur bola ki - tum kaun ho
jaao Sheela ko bulaakar
laao..bataao... aisa kaun marad
bolta hai..
Ingle barks at the Drunk man.
INGLE
Kya re bewdeyaa, daaru peeke patni
se saamne doosri aurat ka naam leta
hai...
Hearing this The woman gets furious.
WOMAN
Arey saab...hum Hi hai sheela
thakur.. iski patni... humari
shakal nahin pehchaan paa raha tha
ye..ab Dekh lo dhyaan se.. kaho to
gudwa lo chhati par...
Saying this she hits her husband,
INGLE
Aye idhar maara maari karne ka
nahin..
(to a female constable)
Aye iski complaint likho... aur ye
bewde ko andar daalo.. do din andar
rahega daaru bhool jayega..
Saying this the female constable escorts them to a corner.
just when the chaos was dissolved, Aham comes running into
the police station, he is running out of breath.
Ingle looks at him in awe.

AHAM
Sir mera bag chori ho gaya hai...
bahut zaruri saaman tha usmein...
INGLE
Aaram se aaram se... kahan se chori
hua bag?
AHAM
Sir main rikshaw se ghar jaa raha
tha... raste mein utrana pada aur
main bag lena bhool gaya.. aur bag
rikshaw wale ke sath hi chala
gaya..
INGLE
Abey hero isko chori bolte hain..
ye teri laparwaahi ki wajah se hua
hai..
Aham’s face drops, Ingle tries to help him.
INGLE (CONT'D)
Accha chal bata auto ka number kya
tha..
AHAM
(mumbles)

Saying this we
FLASH CUT TO
INT. AUTO RIKSHAW - NIGHT
We open from Aham’s POV, he is sitting in the rikshaw. We
can’t see Rikshaw driver’s face.
As Aham tries to focus on the Registration number written in
the leg space, it stays out of focus.
Aham tries to pull focus again, but from his POV only thing
we see is “ONLY 3 PASS” written above the number and letter P
is scratched out so it reads - “ONLY 3 ASS”.
CUT BACK TO
INT. VERSOVA POLICE STATION- NIGHT
Aham’s face with a resolve and guilt. Ingle getting the
expression makes a face.

INGLE
Yaar tum log bhi na... chal number
nahin to naam to bataaya hoga..
AHAM
Haan sir naam to bataaya tha..
Saying this Aham again gets pull back into the memory and we
FALSH CUT TO
INT. AUTO RIKSHAW- NIGHT
Again we open the scene in Aham’s POV. We see the Rikshaw
driver is trying to engage with Aham while keeping his eyes
focused on the road.
DRIVER
Arey saab aap writer hai na..to
acchi filmein kaahe nahin banaate
hain .. aajkal bas south ka copy
iska copy uska copy.... kabhi aakar
humaara original naatak dekhiye
basti mein.. maja naa aajaye to
naam badal dijiyega..
Saying this the driver says the name, but Aham hears some
gibberish in the place of the name(indicating he was not
paying attention).
DRIVER (CONT'D)
Ahdjfhadkf(gibberish) ka naam puri
basti mein world famous hai.. aap
pooch lijiyega..
As he says that we
CUT BACK TO
INT. POLICE STATION- NIGHT
Again the same expression of Aham suggests he didn’t hear the
name as well. Ingle jolts out of irritation.
INGLE
ab kya sketch artist ko bulwake
uska sketch banwaau?
Aham’s head drops.
INGLE (CONT'D)
abey.. chehra bhi nahin dekha?

Saying this he starts laughing, the staff laugh as well.
AHAM
Sir aankhe dekhi thi..
INGLE
Accha... shahrukh khan...aankhe
dekhi thi... Kya tha re Shinde
uska.. aankhon ka namkeen..
Here we see Shinde, a small chubby hawaldar comes running
from the outside, adjusting his pants on his hips.
SHINDE
(mimicking SRK)
Teri aankhon ki namkeen
mastiyan..teri hansi ki beparwaah
gustaakiyan.
As Shinde goes on to say the dialogue, the whole staff laughs
along with Ingle.,
INGLE
Haan haan bas bohot hai shinde
beta..
(shinde bows his head in
gratitude)
Dekha sab item log hai idhar aur ek
tu hai..
Just then Ingle’s eyes reach somewhere behind Aham and
suddenly he pulls out his Gun. Aham is shaken to the core and
he ducks.
There we see Sanu Kumar (gangster, all bruised up) standing
behind Aham.
INGLE (CONT'D)
Aye aye madarchod tu jail se kaise
baahar aaya re...
Aham starts shaking as he realizes what’s going on.
AHAM
(creeps out)
Fuck!!..criminal..
SANU KUMAR
Saab macchar kaat rahe they..aur
taala bhi nahin tha to main kambal
maangne aa gaya.
Ingle is frustrated, he shouts.

INGLE
Aye.. Shinde...
Shinde looks at Ingle with a sorry written all over his face.
INGLE (CONT'D)
Taala kidhar hai..
SHINDE
Sir taala to ek hi hai station
mein...
INGLE
Haan to usko station ke baahar hi
maar de.. saala tum log ko police
mein kaun bheja... aur mera hi
station mila tha.
(calming down)
Isko band kar aur taala maar.
CUT TO:
Shinde locks sanu up and put a lock on the door, but as we
hold on the lock we see its broken and still hanging open.
CUT BACK TO
We see Aham finally taking a sigh of relief.
INGLE (CONT'D)
Haan to bhai ye tera bag abhi kaise
dhoondhenge hum log..? kuch bhi
yaad to hai nahin tere ko..
suddenly Aham remembers something.
AHAM
Sir.. nazariya theatre group... wo
riksha wala bola tha... dharavi
mein theatre karta hai... wahan
jaayenge to mil jayega..
INGLE
To jaa na..fokat Maatha chaat gaya
mera..
AHAM
Paise nahin hai sir...
Ingle holds his head.
INGLE
Yaar aaj saare faulty piece idhar
ka hi rasta dekhe kya..
(MORE)

INGLE (CONT'D)
(calling out)
Sharma... tu udhar hi side jaa raha
hai na... isko leke jaa..
AHAM
Thank you sir..
INGLE
Aage se rikshaw wale se thodi baat
kar lene ka... apni janampatri
sunaate hai wo log...aaram Se sunne
ka .... theek... abhi jaa..
Hearing this Aham leaves with sharma the inspector.
